Antología de poesía queer: Una imaginación radical
Queer theory is a broad and radical response to the traditional gender roles of the heteropatriarchal universe. Just as literature draws on identity, queer writing incorporates the autobiographical experience and critical thinking of its authors, opening cracks in the dominant narrative of global patriarchy. Today, queer poetry is crucial for its capacity to restore extraordinary plasticity to language: it allows us to rewrite an established, violent, rigid, and normative narrative—both social and intimate—that excludes anyone who doesn't fit into conventional gender roles.
This anthology is conceived as a polyphonic book, the most honest way to approach queer desire. It does not aim to establish a canon, but rather to document a collection of proposals that construct a new narrative and record the search for a different kind of affectivity and its radical freedom. Hence the selection of voices that stage the plurality of desire, both in form and content, and that explore new forms of sensitivity and sexual dissidence, without neglecting social critique, decolonization, anti-racism, and the presence of minority languages.
The compilation, made and prefaced by Ángelo Néstore, brings together poems by Héctor Aceves, Txus García, Berta García Faet, Pol Guasch, Laia López Manrique, Antón Lopo, Roberta Marrero, Juanpe Sánchez López, Sara Torres and Gabriela Wiener.
