Bodhiria (LP-Vinyl)
Judeline presents Bodhiria, her debut album, a work conceived as a story with its own identity and a continuous narrative. The record follows the journey of angelA, the alter ego from which the artist sings, who at a moment of uncertainty begins a symbolic movement toward the sea, guided by the attraction of the full moon (mangata), until reaching Bodhiria, a suspended space, detached from time and reality.
From that imagined place, angelA watches how life goes on without her, with minimal connection to the outside world, mediated by the idea of God. Bodhiria thus functions as an emotional purgatory, a non-place where universal feelings such as love, absence, grief, dependence, melancholy, or anger are processed.
Musically, the album is built from fragments and contrasts. Venezuelan joropo rhythms, afrobeat influences, pop ballads, and more experimental passages coexist, shaping a heterogeneous but cohesive whole. For this project, Judeline has collaborated with producers of very different profiles, including Mayo and Tuiste, members of the collective Rusia IDK like Rusowsky, Drummie, and Ralphie Choo, and Rob Bisel, known for his work with artists such as SZA and Tate McRae.
