On the eve of San Juan, a storm batters the facade of the Atlante del Sol Institute in Playa Blanca, south of Lanzarote. Inside, the farewell party is taking place before the End-of-Year Talent Festival, to be held the following day.

Something has gone wrong: young Ico, the star of the festival, is found dead inside the elevator, suffocated by smoke in a macabre reminiscence of the legend that her name honors.

Teachers and students present are identified as both witnesses and suspects in what appears to be a terrible crime. However, the case is closed weeks later due to a lack of conclusive evidence. Authorities ruled it an accident. 

Now Naima, an aspiring journalist and Ico's partner, convinced that the pieces don't fit, has decided to resume the investigation and interview all the party attendees again until she finds the answer to the question that continues to hang in the air: Who killed Ico?
