Guapa
Originally released in 2006, Guapa is one of the key albums in the discography of La Oreja de Van Gogh and a fundamental title in Spanish pop of the 2000s. This vinyl LP edition corresponds to a later reissue, which brings the album back in analog format.
Guapa belongs to the final stage of the group with Amaia Montero as lead singer, being their last studio album fronting the band before her departure in 2007. Her voice defines the emotional tone of the record, with a direct and recognizable performance that marked the group's identity during that period.
The album combines well-defined pop structures with careful production and lyrics focused on love, loss, and introspection. Songs like Muñeca de trapo or Dulce locura became some of the group's most representative tracks and immediate references of Spanish pop of their generation.
