“Die With A Smile” marked the first collaboration between Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. Released as a single on August 16, 2024, this song was later included on Mayhem, Gaga's seventh album, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in March 2025.

The song reached number one in more than 30 countries and remained 17 consecutive weeks leading the Billboard Global 200. In addition, it became the fastest song to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify, reaching that figure in just 96 days and accumulating more than 1.8 billion streams to date. Its music video, with its polished and nostalgic aesthetic, was also one of the most viewed of the year.

“Die With A Smile” received the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and was nominated for Song of the Year, adding other awards in the American Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, NRJ Music Awards and Musa Awards, establishing itself as one of the most successful collaborations in recent pop music.
