The illusion of normality, understood as a specific form of consumption, has become an obstacle to social and class struggles. The desire to assimilate into "normality," to remain unnoticed, has silenced dissent and lifestyles far removed from the capitalist productive and reproductive system in the debate.

In contrast, we should be able to demand more than ever other ways of life that invite the entire society to transform itself from the margins, to become queer, to revolutionize affection, care, and even pleasure. An alternative path, a collective horizon that doesn't dismiss the discordant realities of a society whose epicenter is the nuclear and cis-hetero family.
