Executive produced by Miley alongside Shawn Everett (The War on Drugs, Alabama Shakes), and featuring collaborations with Maxx Morando (Liily) and filmmaker Panos Cosmatos ( Mandy ), the album is articulated as a total artistic experience: music, film, fashion and visual art come together in a work that, in the words of the artist herself, seeks to emotionally and physically impact whoever listens to it.
