Queercore: Cómo punkear una revolución
Cantico Editorial
Yony Leyser developed the idea of Queercore: How to Punk a Revolution during a tour with a group of queer artists. Years later, the experience gained would translate into the acclaimed documentary project of which this book offers, for the first time, a Spanish translation.
Here it's made clear that punk and queerness aren't styles or musical genres, but ideals worth fighting for. Ways of making the world we live in a better and more fun place. Leyser takes up the legacy of queercore to combat any form of conformity, encouraging the public to break free and become a transformative force in society.
Brimming with testimonies from icons like Peaches, John Waters, Bruce LaBruce, Billie Joe Armstrong, Jodi Bleyle, and Lynn Breedlove, this book is a true treasure for the queer community.
