Remastered reissue on 180-gram vinyl of the debut album Spice, originally published in November 1996This album launched the Spice Girls —Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Melanie C and Victoria Beckham— to international fame, becoming a global pop phenomenon and the face of the movement "Girl Power".

With the first single "Wannabe"which reached number one in more than 37 countries, and other hits such as Say You'll Be There and 2 Become 1, Spice it transformed into the best-selling album by an all-female musical group, with more than 24 million copies sold.

The success of Spice It was immediate and overwhelming. In 1997, the Spice Girls received the BRIT Award for Best British Single by Wannabe and the one of Best British Pop Act, in addition to being recognized as Best Group at the MTV Europe Music Awards. A year later, in 1998, the album was awarded as Best Pop/Rock Album at the American Music Awards, solidifying their international status. They even achieved a Guinness World Record as the female group with the most consecutive number one hits in the UK, with a total of seven.

He revitalized British pop in the late 90s, introducing the slogan "Girl Power" as a message of female empowerment that transcended borders.
