On the eve of Saint John's Night, a storm lashes the facade of the Instituto Atlante del Sol,
in Playa Blanca, in the south of Lanzarote. Inside, the farewell party takes place before the
End-of-Year Talent Festival, which will be held the next day.
Something has gone wrong: the young Ico, star of the festival, is found dead inside the elevator,
suffocated by smoke, in a macabre echo of the legend her name honors.
Teachers and students present are marked both as witnesses and suspects of what seems
to be a terrible crime. However, the case is closed weeks later due to lack of conclusive evidence.
Accident, the authorities rule.
Now Naima, an aspiring journalist and Ico’s classmate, convinced that the pieces don’t fit,
decides to resume the investigation and re-interview all the party attendees until she finds
the answer to the question still hanging in the air:
Who killed Ico?
